Child Quick-View
What is the Child Quick-View?
The Child Quick-View is a panel that opens when you tap a child’s name on the Daily Schedule. It gives you instant access to the most important contact information for that child without leaving the schedule.
It is read-only — you cannot edit anything from this panel.
What the Quick-View Shows
Child Info
The child’s name, age, and an infant badge if applicable.
Parents and Guardians
The name, phone number, and email address of each guardian linked to the family responsible for the child on that day. Phone and email are tap-to-contact on mobile.
Emergency Contacts
The name, phone number, and relationship of all emergency contacts on file for the child’s family.
Who Can Pick Up This Child
Avatar cards showing the name and role of every person authorized for pickup.
Why Doesn’t it Show Allergies or Medical Information?
Allergies and medical notes are intentionally not shown in the Quick-View. This panel may be opened in a common area where other people — including children, parents, or visitors — could see the screen. Sensitive health information is kept off this surface to protect each child’s privacy.
To access allergies and medical notes, tap View Full Profile at the bottom of the panel and go to the child’s Overview tab.
Which Family is Shown?
If a child is linked to more than one family, the Quick-View shows the family associated with the current day’s scheduled occurrence — not all families. This reflects which household is responsible for the child on that specific day.
Going to the Full Profile
Tap View Full Profile at the bottom of the panel to open the child’s complete record, including medical information, immunizations, billing, and documents.
